Comprehensive Psychology Assessment + Clinical Report (90 minutes) ~ £200
This assessment includes discussing your background, history, context, past and current difficulties, and provides you with clinical advice that you can follow through with me or other professionals (private or NHS). We can arrange a tailored assessment in an introductory call. A clinical report/letter will follow the assessment, where I detail what we discussed and recommend a therapeutic plan that may include other sources of support via signposting you to relevant organisations, charities and healthcare providers.
Individual Therapy (50 minutes)
Therapy always begins with an assessment, where I’ll ask a range of questions to gain a thorough understanding of your experiences and challenges. My goal is to help you develop a clearer picture of what’s driving your difficulties and, more importantly, how to create meaningful change. Following the assessment, we’ll work together to form hypotheses about the factors contributing to and influencing your challenges. These insights will guide us as we begin exploring and experimenting with ways to create positive changes. Therapy is open-ended and I can offer regular progress reviews to keep on track with your goals.
Per one session ~ £90
Per 5 sessions ~ £400 (£80 per session)
Including significant others in a therapy session incurs £30
Individual Therapy (90 minutes)

About Therapy for Maladaptive Daydreaming
Maladaptive Daydreaming (MD) is a newly recognised condition that is not yet an official clinical diagnosis. As a Clinical Psychologist with a strong interest in this clinical and research area, I stay up-to-date on the latest developments and will integrate new approaches as they emerge.
While currently there is no established therapeutic approach that can be considered evidence-based or "tried and tested", emerging research highlights the benefits of Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), mindfulness, relational therapeutic approaches, and addressing its co-morbid challenges (e.g., anxiety, OCD, low mood) to reduce its impact. Applying these approaches in my work enables me to support you with MD and related challenges.
Tailoring therapy to your needs, I can support you to manage MD better, learn about what role MD plays in your life through discussing your experiences, support you with relationship challenges, and/or work with other difficulties such as anxiety, shame or low mood.
For someone who has had MD their whole life, "stopping" immersing oneself may not be the immediate goal, and I understand if you feel torn related to this. It requires immense effort and making changes that you may not be ready for, and I will provide a non-judgmental space to explore your difficulties related to it such as shame and dissociation, and I will support you to pursue a life worth being present for.
If you identify as a person with maladaptive daydreaming, feel free to book a free introductory call to explore how I can help.
